Welcome to this months Waltzingmouse blog party, and I was pleased that this time we had the option of just being green, as last year I really struggled with the St Pats theme!!!
Knowing that my FAVOURITE colour is green made this challenge super easy, plus my favourite stamps are trees/leaves/naturals!
I brought out my favourite waltzingmouse stamps, Teeny trees, and got stamping in various shades of green. I started by stamping the card base with the green concentric circles in a lovely pearlised green ink. Next I set about doing my tree scene, and used 3 different shades of green ink with the 3 basic tree shapes. The tree trunks were stamped in walnut stain distress ink. Two little birdies were sat in the middle tree as I am making this card for some friends how have recently moved. I used two of the teeny trees sentiments here and masked them to say Happy Home - ('happy
I used my lovely scalloped edgeabilities to add a little extra circley goodness to the card! I hope you like my take on Green, using both green colours, and a green theme (trees!). For a list of all the people taking part head over to the main waltzingmouse blog!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet spring scene...it really DID look like that at our house today...it was over 70 degrees! Love the soft greens and the little birdies chirping in the trees! A great little sentiment that you created, too, I have to remember that one!
